Hello
I am loctaed in Eatern Ontario, Canada. I have been an amateur student of climate science since the 1960's. I watched two squirrels collecting material for their nests on June 17. Local lore says that..."squirrels making nests in late June means lay-in extra firewood". Sounds like we will be in for a long hard winter in 2009-10. And yes, the firewood is safely stored.

The story of the ant and the grasshopper comes to mind.
I am also prepared for this coming winter. (I hope Shocked )
